6/18/06 - walgreens under construction

The new Walgreens under construction where the Chevron station used to be. The design follows the theme of the rest of the shopping center 

6/17/06 - nephew Drew at UC Berkeley

Drew was passing through the area on the way to Oregon to begin a bike ride across the country. 

6/16/06 - window needed

Storms while I was on vacation sucked the window pane out of my garage window. Repair is scheduled in a few weeks.

Trader Joe's

A visit to Trader Joe's. Not a very exciting picture but it is exciting to be trying out this new way of displaying my picture of the day.

Introduction

I've been keeping a Picture of the Day website for a while but one downside was trying to describe what's in each picture with just the few words I could put on the picture itself.
Now using this blog I can chose to write a lot about each picture, if I so choose.
Also I can get feedback on the pictures from viewers.
